Martha Warren-Flores

East St. Louis High School Beta Club members love, value, and appreciate the commitment shown by their sponsor, Mrs. Warren-Flores.  She is described as one of a kind and a mother-figure by many of her club members.  She has earned these descriptions through her tireless efforts to help anyone in her community who is in need of assistance.  One student wrote, "She will do whatever it takes (including selling her own personal belongings) to facilitate trips, lodging and fees for her own students and students from other schools as well."  Her contributions to the lives and educational goals of her Beta Club members are visible in their character, leadership, and achievements.  East St. Louis High School Senior Beta Club has won or placed in numerous state and national competitions, produced three State Officers and even a National President.

This commitment to serving others, her commitment to her club members and students, and the altruistic spirit that Mrs. Warren-Flores demonstrates are just a few of the reasons that The National Beta Club recognizes her as a Spotlight Sponsor.
